Newsbrief Advertising Information

These opportunities are premier ways to reach an exclusive group of planning professionals in the Virginia area. There are over 1700 member planning professionals and students in Virginia. Join with us to bring up-to-date information and services to our community.

	1/8 page 3 ½" W x 2 ½" D	$100.00 per issue or $300.00 per year
	1/4 page 3 ½" W x 4 ½" D	$175.00 per issue or $525.00 per year
	1/2 page 7 ½" W x 4 ½" D	$250.00 per issue or $750.00 per year

Submitted Art for Advertising Requirements

• All art, images, photos, and logos must be 300 dpi
• Electronic computer file formats - TIFF, PDF or JPG.
• Small files can be e-mailed. Larger files more than 6 MB should be zipped or stuffed, then sent as an email attachment.
• Camera ready artwork also accepted, but not preferred.
• Do not send Microsoft Word or Publisher files, Quark or InDesign files.
• Do not submit art, images or photos that are in violation of copyright laws.

 Note:  If you do not have art for your advertisement and need something created please add a $50 design fee.

The APA Virginia website is the official destination for planning professionals in Virginia. APA Virginia will accept advertising for jobs, products, services, and continuing education. Miscellaneous listings include such items as used equipment or practices for lease/sale, workshops, fellowships/scholarships available, networking or volunteer opportunities available, etc. Product advertisements are not accepted.

Editorial Policy: All advertisements must conform with the ethical standards and policies of APA and APA Virginia. The Chapter reserves the right to decline any advertisement considered contrary to, or in conflict with, APA/APA Virginia bylaws, policies, or code of ethics. The appearance of an advertisement on the APA Virginia website does not constitute or imply endorsement of an employer or of an activity by APA Virginia. The Chapter does not verify the accuracy of advertisements.

Employment Advertising: To submit a job opening or professional opportunity visit the job classified page. Listings can be posted for increments of 45 days for $45.00 per period. APA Virginia reserves the right to refuse to post any requested listing.

Website Advertising Rates (Text Only): Prices reflect a one-month (31-days) appearance on the APA Virginia website. Contact APA Virginia Chapter office for price quote.

Graphics: A 120 X 60 pixel banner may be placed at the bottom of a designated page
Logos will require an additional fee per ad.

APA Virginia marketing designers will construct a professional advertising graphic, per advertiser request. Contact APA Virginia Chapter office for price quote.

Copy Responsibility: Submission of copy is the responsibility of the advertiser. All website advertising must be paid for in advance.
