Financing Green Initiatives

This intensive full day workshop (spanning Thursday afternoon and Friday morning) is designed especially for participants from local governments (though relevant for others!) seeking to finance significant “greening initiatives” such as land conservation and stormwater management. Participants will explore financing examples from around the watershed and the nation and apply proven money-winning principles and techniques for setting priorities and designing creative financing approaches. Bring a key financing need and use this workshop to stimulate your creating thinking and start outlining approaches with others who share similar needs.

Workshop registration fee: $75 – covers all meals, lodging and costs Thursday lunch to Friday lunch.

Watershed Forum registration fee: additional $175 – covers all meals, lodging and costs for Friday afternoon, all-day Saturday and Sunday morning – a real bargain, all at the scenic National Conservation Training Center!
