Advancement in Green Building Policies

The Virginia Chapter of the American Planning Association invites you to join the Northern Virginia Section for a discussion of advancement in green building policies.  In particular, panelists will provide an update on green building policies in the region and how jurisdictions are addressing the goal of an energy efficient built environment.  Join us to hear and share insight on how the national discussion on climate change relates to local decisionmaking regarding green buildings.

We are pleased to have Loudoun County Supervisor Andrea McGimsey lead this discussion.  She will be joined by Dale Madearis of the Northern Virginia Regional Commission and Nicole Steele of the Loudoun County Planning Department.  (Additional panelist TBA). 

There is no charge for this event, but space is limited.  We anticipate that 1.5 CM credits will be available.
