DC Metro Area Designers, Architects & Planners Fall Networking Event

Howard University School of Architecture Design Gallery & Front Lobby

Join us for this free professional networking event sponsored by the Howard University Department of Architecture in the School of Architecture and Design and the Planning and the Black Community Division of American Planning Association. The purpose of this event is to engage professionals and students in the DC-VA-MD metro area in a networked discussion and action in "connecting design, architecture and planning in communities of color." A brief headlined presentation at this event on a landmark technical assistance project that applies equitable development and smart growth strategies for corridor enhancement in a majority population African-American city supports the evening theme.
Attendees will have an opportunity to network and enjoy light hor'dourves and refreshments; visit learning display sponsor exhibits; participate in a business card exchange; listen to featured music selections; embark on student led studio projects and design gallery tours and so much more! This event welcomes students, architects, planners, urban designs, engineers, elected officials, government agencies and other allied professionals. If interested in sponsorship/exhibiting at this event, please contact Zunilda Rodriguez at zuniz89@hotmail.com
