Six CM credits will be offered to those who attend the Monday session
The UVA Climate Change and Health Symposium will initiate a dialogue concerning the linkages between the climate change and community health to investigate ways to foster greater connections at the academic, community and global scales. Through a film screening, panel presentations and facilitated discussions, workshop participants will discuss emerging issues in these fields and create an agenda for integrating research and action. The scale will be global, national, and local and the focus will be on water, food and chronic disease. Outcomes from the workshop will be utilized to develop UVA curricula, to inform research agendas, and to identify community outreach opportunities.
