The American Planning Association and the American Institute of Certified Planners are proud to host the SPRING 2010 Planners Training Service in Washington, DC. There will be four workshops taught by expert faculty over a four-day period, June 9-12. Each workshop will provide two days (14 hours and 14 CM credits total) of advanced training on essential topics:
- June 9-10 (Wednesday-Thursday)
- Planning for Green Infrastructure
- Sustainable Zoning and Development Controls (also satisfies CM Law requirement)
- June 11-12 (Friday-Saturday)
- Complete Streets
- Integrating Public Health into the Sustainable Comprehensive Plan
Virginia APA Chapter Members are eligible to register for SPRING 2010 Planners Training Service workshops at Early Registration Rates at anytime (i.e. beyond the May 12 deadline). Of course, APA Student Members in Virginia are eligible to register for PTS workshops at the special rate of $150 per workshop, as long as there is availability (student seats limited to 10 per workshop). Active Virginia APA Chapter members who wish to register at Early Registration Rates after May 12 must do so by paper (not online), but APA will waive the $30 paper registration processing fee.
