What do planners really do? An informal discussion with planning professionals.

Hear from planners in the public and private sectors; at local, regional and state levels of government; and those in non-traditional roles. APA Virginia Chapter, Roanoke/New River Valley Section members have been invited to discuss the work they perform, including the skills needed, the wide variety of projects they participate in, their daily routines, and career path. While there will be a panel discussion, this will be an informal event where attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss their experiences in the field of planning.

The event is free to attend, however due to space constraints we do ask that you RSVP to APA-VA Roanoke/New River Valley Section Director Eddie Wells at roanoke@apavirginia.org.

Please contact Eddie Wells at roanoke@apavirginia.org if you are interested in participating in the event or serving on the panel.

An event invitation with directions to the site may be found here. Please feel free to share it with others that might be interested in attending.
