1:15 pm Resolved: Is Local Community Planning in Virginia Unwittingly Influenced by International Dogma and Directive?
The premise underpinning the above assertion will be examined and discussed in detail by Donna Holt, who is with the Virginia Campaign for Liberty and Andrew McRoberts, who is an attorney with SandsAnderson located in Richmond. Ms. Holt, in her 45 minute presentation, will connect the dots planners are missing detailing the mostly hidden influence the UN has over local planning in Virginia. Ms. Holt will review the origins of the “global to local plan for sustainable development;” how it is being implemented and how it undermines the principles of federalism and the US Constitution.
Mr. McRoberts will follow Ms. Holt with a 45 minute presentation wherein he will opine that local planning in Virginia is not being influenced by the UN or any other international body. Mr. McRoberts will connect dots which, in his opinion, clearly link local community planning with Virginia General Assembly sanctioned statutes and laws. Mr. McRoberts will also outline and detail how case law, and not UN dogma, governs the practice of local community planning in Virginia.
A rebuttal opportunity of 15 minutes for each speaker will occur in advance of questions from those in attendance. The seminar will conclude at 4:00pm

All reservations must be accompanied by a one night's deposit. Deposits are refundable, less a $25 processing fee, provided Wintergreen Resort receives notice of cancellation at least 3 days prior to arrival. Cancellations occurring within 3 days of arrival will forfeit deposit. Any individual reservation that is canceled (or is a no-show) whereby the attendee was splitting a portion of the unit cost will result in the other attendees paying a larger share. If collection of this amount is not made at check out then the charge will be applied to the master account.
