In light of the monumental news that Fort Monroe is now America’s newest National Monument, Please join APA Virginia for a presentation, tour, and light reception at Fort Monroe, VA with Glenn Odor, ASLA, Executive Director of the Fort Monroe Authority, and Josh Gillespie, AICP, Interim Director of Heritage Assets & Historic Preservation Officer of the Fort Monroe Authority, the afternoon of November 15, 2011.
The event will begin at 3:00 P.M. at the Chamberlin with a brief presentation followed by a walking tour of Fort Monroe, a guided tour of the Casement Museum and a reception at 5:00 P.M. at a historic home on General's Row.
